Ahh, the fourth color yarn I’ve been waiting for finally arrived in the mail and I’ve been busy hooking up squares and at the same time I’ve also started to knit the border. Fun having two projects in one. I can crochet for a bit, then knit for a bit, which helps to keep it interesting. With the Holiday I’ve another day full tomorrow to carry on.
I’ve been up and out for a beach walk the last two mornings and it has been spectacular. Low tide, big wide sandy beach and small fluffy waves lapping at the shore.
I also stopped by the Gardens in Carlsbad to view the roses and as always they are so pretty.
Summer is around the corner and I can feel its arrival.

ReplyDeleteI am so jealous that you live so close to the beach and can take a walk whenever you want! We love our beach house more than anything - but it is an effort to go there - long drive and I have to take off work. But of course my husband is retired~~~ (not fair!).
The roses are so beautiful - yes - so happy summer is here!
