This is definitely my favorite go-to baby blanket pattern. I like it because it is a fun, easy knit. The basket weave stitch is easy to remember, making for a perfect travel companion. Susan has done a great job in explaining how to add the ruffled trim, which is such a sweet detail. I’ve made several now, and they are always well received by the Mother-to-be. I’m partial to white baby blankets, even if I know a little boy or girl is on its way. There is something so pure and innocent about the color white, just like the newborn. This blanket just went to my niece who is expecting her bundle of joy this winter. Awe, another baby in our family!
