This has been such a great pattern to practice my Entrelac technique. I liked that this little headband knits up so quickly. The pattern is well written and the designer, Star Athena has done a great job describing in detail how to pick up stitches as you knit (or) purl from row to row. Once finished it only needed a light blocking to get the pattern to pop, and wow, I’m loving how it looks. The yarn feels great on the skin and the color transitions are a good match to this technique. Such a cozy accessory to wear during the cool mornings of fall.
P.S. I really enjoyed my August break, but it is nice to be back. I hope you all had a great summer!

ReplyDeleteI was always daunted by entrelac, but I had a pattern for a baby blanket that explained it clearly and as long as I religiously followed the instructions it turned out fine. Couldn't say I'm confident, tho!
ReplyDeleteYours looks brilliant! :-)
