One of my favorite things about the blogs I frequent is their generosity; i.e. Giveaways! Since many bloggers have a giveaway at the One-year mark and/or the 100th post, I thought I’d follow suit. Is there anything more fun than free stuff? knitalatte has been around a little over the one-year mark and a bit shy of the 100th post, so here we go…. I’ve made up a loopy rose just for the occasion. If you’d like a chance to win this loopy rose pin, just leave a comment and I’ll draw a winner before my next post. Thank you all for stopping by for a visit and leaving words of encouragement about my love (obsession?) for everything knit and crochet.
Plus, what? another baby? Oh, how I love it when one of my bff’s informs me that they have another grandbaby on the way. Any excuse to whip up a baby blanket is fine by me. The ruffled blanket from the pure and sweet layette is one of my favorites. The pattern can be found in the book, itty-bitty nursery by Susan B. Anderson.

Congrats dear Karen on your blogging achievements - your year of showing us your most exquisite creations - every post a delight in the colors and textures that make your artistry so special.

Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteSince I have been blogging I discovered a lot of wonderful people who create the most gorgeous items. And you are certainly one of them. It is always a pleasure to see what you write and to look at the pictures you show. You are a very talented lady. The loopy rose is beautiful, I really like the way the colours work for it. This is one of those pattern I don't have the courage for to make. Please count me in in your give-away.
groetjes, Dorien
The rose is lovely as is the blanket. I think that all new babies should have a handmade blanket.
