Granny Stripe Blanket....

Complete, finished, done, over, moved on, the end! Yes, I’ve made the Granny stripe blanket.  It has a total of 17 colors, 69 rows and measures 48x60.  I edged it with two rounds of granny stripes in periwinkle, one round in aqua using a slip stitch and the final edge is a 7-double crochet scallop in the color lavender.  I think it was a fun project and I really enjoyed the weight on my lap this past month as it has been cooler in the evenings and it kept me cozy and warm as I worked up the rows.  Thanks you Lucy at Attic24 for this wonderful pattern and your yarn suggestion, dk Special by Stylecraft, is perfect. The bright color combination makes me smile.  Sweet!

  1. Gorgeous blanket. I agree with you on the pretty feeling of having the blanket on your lap while working on it. The edging is perfect. Great job.
