Finally, it feels like the season
has changed from summer to fall here in Sunny So Cal. When I woke up to rain on Friday, and gusty winds on
Saturday, I knew it was ok to bring out the cozy warm garments from storage and
I couldn’t be happier. I love the
beautiful fall colors, the smell of clean crisp air and the sound of crunchy
leaves as I take my daily walk.
In celebration I decided I needed
to make a new hat and chose to make a beret. I found this cute, easy to follow
crochet pattern; Dynamite Beret by Jaime Eads
Maraia from her e-book; Fancy-Schmancy (available
on Amazon) or her website.

Made with Madelinetosh DK (My favorite yarn) in the color Wicked (hehe).
❤ Enjoy your weekend ❤

What a beautiful beret! Love the yarn! We have had 70 degrees the last couple of days. Just a fluke in Illinois. High tomorrow of 39 again, which is more like it.
ReplyDeleteThose red leaves are gorgeous and so is that color of Madelinetosh. It has been cold in the desert, 55 degrees today. I am sure that will all change this week and we will be back in the 80's soon.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is so wonderful - the colors are amazing in that yarn. Great photos too!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, the beret turned out so gorgeous!!! I love the color! Mind if I add a link to this post on my blog? I want to share it with everyone!!

We've had autumn for a while now, but just now it feels as though we've lost it. The weather is back up to the 70s. What??? I love the chill and can't wait for it to return.

ReplyDeleteI love Fall too! What an adorable hat! The colors are so pretty and the ribbon is so cute!
