I need a dose of simple, and what could possibly be simpler than a knitted dishcloth? (Not much) The idea of mindless, repetitive knit and purl stitches that happen to produce something useful is right up my alley. Rest and relaxation is on the menu this weekend after a super busy week, which included my daughter’s birthday, my son’s graduation and a house full of visiting family. Take me away….So when I saw that the Ravelry group, Lets Knit2gether’s June KAL happens to be dishcloths, I decided that’s for me!
The Pattern; Ballband Dishcloth from Mason-Dixon Knitting. (Free on Peaches N Cream site). The Yarn; Manos Cotton Stria from stash.
See more creativity here. Hope you enjoy a relaxing weekend too.

Love this washcloth but the pattern says to have TWO balls in contrasting colours. Yours is obviously THREE colours. Have I got the right pattern?
ReplyDeleteI love knitted dish cloths. My grandma made these all the time and I have a life time supply. I can tell when she made them based on the colors that were on trend that decade, so fun.
